		<description>Hubris would most likely be a major reason.  How many litigators think they can handle any type of litigation, when in reality they are limited to specific areas.  Hiring Los Angeles criminal defense attorneys to handle specific criminal matters is smart, and looking for quality appellate attorneys is just as smart.</description>
